UBS has implemented advanced entrance solutions from Gunnebo Entrance Control to support secure, high-volume movement across its India offices.
Background
UBS operates multiple office locations across India, including key sites in Kharadi, Gigaplex and Mumbai. These facilities experience significant daily footfalls, particularly during morning and evening rush hours.
With significant numbers of employees and visitors moving through the buildings, UBS required an entrance control solution capable of maintaining high throughput without compromising security or operational efficiency. The objective was to create a secure, yet seamless access experience aligned with global workplace standards.
Solution
To meet these requirements, Gunnebo Entrance Control delivered a phased installation of more than 58 lanes of full-height turnstiles across the sites. The solution included both Revosec and Revolite units, forming a robust primary perimeter access system.
These turnstiles establish a secure outer boundary, preventing unauthorized access while supporting continuous, high-capacity flow during busy hours. They now serve as the main entrance control system across the sites.
To complement the perimeter security, two SpeedStile FP 1800 BA units were installed at internal access points. These manage movement within the building and ensure a consistent access experience beyond the main entrances.
