Gunnebo Visira
The FLˢ ‑UC is equipped with the Gunnebo Visira detection system, which uses advanced time‑of‑flight sensors to monitor people as they approach, enter, pass through and exit the passageway. Unlike traditional systems, Visira looks beyond the physical boundaries of the cabinet, ensuring individuals are detected before entry. This enables highly accurate people counting and reliable fraud detection.
The standard Visira Core system identifies common security threats such as tailgating, wrong way passage and loitering.
For enhanced performance, upgrading to Visira Vantage introduces an AI driven neural network that improves detection precision. This advanced capability allows the system to detect closer tailgating attempts and even sidegating, delivering superior security in high risk environments.
In maximum security mode, if two people are detected at the entrance of the FLˢ‑UC, the doors will remain locked to maintain a secure physical barrier and prevent unauthorised access.
Security can be further strengthened with optional anti‑climb detection. A pressure‑sensitive lid detects any attempt to climb on top of the cabinet and immediately triggers an alarm, adding an extra layer of protection against sophisticated fraud attempts.

The compact footprint allows it to blend seamlessly into both narrow and open entryways, while alternative finish options are available to ensure the gate aligns perfectly with your building’s aesthetic and environment.
How easy is it to integrate with existing access control systems (e.g RFID, biometric, barcode)?
The SpeedStile FLˢ Ultra Compact can be integrated with a wide range of access control systems.
Reader integration is available directly in the lid, complete with an indicator light for clear user interaction. On glass lids, the reader is positioned directly beneath the surface, while on aluminium lids, it is located behind the inlay. Integration can also be configured in the end leg to provide an accessible reader position where required.
In addition, integration with our range of Validus readers comes as standard, supporting Validus RFID, Validus Scan, and Validus Display, which is mounted in the end leg.
Does it include any tailgating or unauthorised entry detection?
Yes, SpeedStile FLˢ Ultra Compact is equipped with Gunnebo’s Visira Detection Technology and can accurately identify behaviours such as tailgating, wrong way entry, and intrusion attempts.
In addition, the SpeedStile FLˢ Ultra Compact has climb on detection to detect if someone attempts to climb on the cabinet.
