Two Melbourne Quarter, located in the heart of Melbourne Central Business District, is a custom built commercial, residential and retail space. The impressive building houses commercial operations for a variety of organisations. Designed with a full glass facade, Two Melbourne Quarter includes many additional functionalities to flow with the modern structure. Making it a place where innovation and modern business thrive, visitors are welcome and residents feel at home.

When creating this new facility safety and security for staff and visitors was high on the list of priorities. With the ability to house a large number of businesses, the landlord would need to have the ability to manage access to the offices in a way that gave staff seamless passage, while preventing unauthorised passage.

Solution

Building 2, which can accommodate thousands of employees employed by multiple organisations, uses SpeedStile FP BA gates from Gunnebo Entrance Control to provide effortless entry for all guests and employees alike. Access is conrtolled using four narrow lanes with one wide lane installed to accommodate for wheelchair access and a high volume of tenants. The gates are specified with 1800mm high glass for an appearance that is both stylish and an effective deterrent against unauthorised passage.

The SpeedStile FP BA gates provide multiple lane access points for quick and efficient traffic movement both into and out of the building. A sleek and complementary appearance is deliverd via a black powder coating for a contemporary design that looks perfectly at home in the lobby area.
