Advanced Detection Capabilities
AFL features an increased amount of sensors to detect tailgating and ensure single person passage. The AFL prevents unauthorised access by detecting any user attempting to follow another passenger through the gate and alerts staff via an audible alarm and lighting.
Sensors can also detect any movement attempted in the opposite direction through the gate as well as identifying any obstruction in the passage. The AFL can distinguish individuals and their belongings, allowing passengers to transit with baggage.
People counting and passage confirmation collects data on passenger flow, supporting airport operations and resource management.
International Standards Compliance
AFL adheres to international standards, including UL, CE, EN16005 and EN17352, so you can be assured compliance to meet regulations.

The AFL offers a range of advanced options, including a built in PC and a biometric totem for OneiD or partner biometric authentication. Additionally, the touchscreen feature can display visual cues to guide passengers or provide essential information (i.e. Seat changes or Emergency Information), enhancing usability and streamlining the travel experience.
Aesthetics
AFL has been crafted with an angled design to naturally guide passengers, the gate combines modern aesthetics with long lasting durability. Premium materials, including stainless steel ensure resilience through years of high traffic while maintaining a minimal presence in the airport. Powder coating can be used to match to your airport specification, as well as other customisable aesthetic options (Analysed for suitability). Dynamic lighting further enhances the user experience by offering intuitive guidance and improving overall usability.

There is a versatile range of options to enhance accessibility and accommodate diverse passenger needs with AFL. Its configurable lane widths allow for standard access, wide lane passage or specialised requirements. Manually controlled passages for prioritising inclusivity by catering to travelers with reduced mobility, wheelchair users, pushchairs and oversized luggage.
Overhead Detection
The AFL can be equipped with an integrated arch, designed to support an advanced overhead detection camera for enhanced security and accuracy. Featuring Time of Flight (TOF) technology, the overhead camera significantly improves tailgating detection, even in scenarios with minimal gaps between individuals (almost zero) while also enabling precise side by side fraud detection.
Unlike traditional stereoscopic cameras, the TOF camera utilises a high performance image sensor to create a 3D representation of the passage area, capturing both position and depth with exceptional reliability. The over head camera leverages infrared light rather than visible light commonly used in standard RGB cameras, TOF technology ensures consistent detection performance, minimising disruptions caused by varying natural or artificial lighting conditions.
