Social Distancing via Occupancy Management

OccuLinq automates social distancing measures thereby ensuring compliance with regulations by automatically managing customer flow. Occupancy management is essential for effective infection prevention and protects customers and retail staff alike.

Once the maximum occupancy is set in the application, the counting devices (gates or overhead detectors) counts customers in and out. When maximum safe capacity is reached, the gates will lock and the signage will be updated to display "Please Wait" until customers exit and safe capacity is available. Through automation, staff are kept safe from exposure and are free to be assigned to more appropriate tasks.
