At Gunnebo Entrance Control, we are committed to taking actions to be a leading ethical business, to empower our people and aim to reach net zero emissions by 2045. It’s a big ambition, but big ambition is what’s needed if we want to operate sustainably and stay in line with the 1.5 degrees of the Paris Agreement

We’re already on the pathway to realising our commitment and have taken the action needed to make sure that we start out right. Our cross-departmental sustainability team is shaping our path to being a leading ethical business, making sure we stay true on our commitment to our people and keeping us on track with Project Earth. Setting targets and tracking delivery, they are the lead in actions that carry us further along the pathway.

Doing better as a business is also becoming ingrained in our culture. Every department has its own Sustainability Champion, looking for ways to empower our people and reduce our impact. From information technology to production, marketing and human resources; our champions are responsible for granular actions that help us fulfil big ambitions.

As we make important headway in other parts of the business, we’re also developing products to be more sustainable and giving you the tools to make a more informed decision about whether Gunnebo Entrance Control is right for your business. The Gunnebo Group’s commitment to SBTi and its EcoVadis Scorecard are assurances of our intent company-wide, while a roll-out of EPDs has already started with the SpeedStile FLs BA1200 gate now available with a third-party verified certificate of performance.

Product innovation to is shaping a more sustainable future for Gunnebo Entrance Control and your business.  Material innovation and a move to an increased amount of recycled metal aside, our systems better manage energy consumption, improve accessibility and encourage healthier ways to travel; all while making your building more secure and your people safer.
